Who is Kelly?

Hello there! So here goes, this is my first attempt at writing a blog post, wish me luck.

What better way to kick start my blog than to talk about my specialist subject, ME.

I am first and foremost a mum, I have three beautiful children. My son is 18 and my daughters are 13 and 4, and yes they keep me on my toes but they also give me the motivation to pursue my dreams and achieve my goals.

I'm not sure if any of you have ever felt stuck in a rut, but I did. I have worked many different jobs over the years trying to find my true passion . I've worked in offices, security, beauty, childcare, domiciliary care, training. Then I started playing with makeup, and it clicked! The beauty industry that I had trained in and done occasionally since being 20 years old was where I wanted to be.

So I bit the bullet and I signed up to do my level 2 and 3 makeup artistry diploma. It was amazing! I loved every second and wanted to know more and more about this inspiring industry.

And so over the past two years I have developed my skills, I have grown as a person and I have pushed myself to be the best makeup artist I can be. I have built up my own freelance makeup artist business and updated my beauty skills so that I can offer my clients the full package.

I've learnt that nothing in life comes easily, it takes hard work, determination, perseverance and that unwavering belief in yourself that you can handle whatever is thrown at you.

Through this blog I hope to share with you tips and tricks on how to juggle motherhood with business. How personal development and self care can improve your mindset as well as some amazing makeup and beauty tips, reviews and advice.

I hope you enjoy reading them and I am pretty sure there will lots of ups and downs that I want to share with you, so lets GROW!!!!
