I've recently had an amazing opportunity to create some promotional images for Stardust Candle Company. The owner Amanda creates fragrances for around that home that are original, and each and every fragrance has been put together from Amanda researching, studying and working with the finest ingredients around.
These fragrances aren't like your ordinary wax melts that you can buy anywhere on social media, these are original fragrances that can't be found anywhere else. And I wanted to represent this within the hair and makeup designs for the images.
I created mood boards, makeup charts, hair designs, shot ideas, location ideas, etc. to share with Amanda and the amazing Photographer who came on board with this project. Working together as a team we came up with some incredible ideas and were able to bring these to life with the help of my amazing models too.
The day of the shoot arrived, the sun was shining (thankfully) and the hosts of the location made us feel so welcome, they provided a perfect setting and even gave us refreshments and food! It was the first time I had worked with Jamie (photographer) and it was an amazing experience. He is a true professional, he knows exactly how I see things and works his magic behind the lens to create some incredible images. The shoot was so much fun, myself, the models and the photographer laughed, joked, learnt things about each other, built long lasting working relationships. That I hope will mean many, many more opportunities to work together.
