As we all know all beauty, makeup and hair artists have been unable to work due to the covid 19 pandemic.

I just wanted to let you all know what I have been doing to make sure that when I am able to open I will be able to do so in a way that is safe for everyone. I also want to make it clear what my plans and strategies are that will be in place to ensure the continued safety in the future.

I have completed in depth training specific for beauty therapists and makeup artists to make sure that I am up to date with the latest regulations and precautions for the beauty industry.

Working in the beauty industry our standards of health, safety and wellbeing are always of an incredibly indepth standard, always have been and always will be. The safety of our clients is at the forefront of everything we do.

Obviously due to the nature of our jobs it is difficult for us to maintain social distancing and so other measures will need to be put in place to prevent the risk of spreading any virus or infection, especially now that we are at risk of such a new and at present incurable virus.

Following regulations put in place by Bectu and NHBF here are my plans and strategies that I will be putting into practice as soon as is safe to do so:

❤️❤️ IF ALL GOES WELL I WILL BE LOOKING TO TAKE BOOKINGS FROM 6TH JULY ❤️❤️ IF THE GOVERNMENT GIVE THE GO AHEAD MY APPOINTMENT BOOK WILL BE OPEN ON 4TH JULY WITH PRIORITY GIVEN TO THOSE ALREADY ON MY PRIORITY LIST 😘 Please be aware I am adhering to guidelines set by the government and following strict hygiene procedures at all times. (Appointments may be subject to change if the situation with lockdown changes) Prices of services will be raised slightly. This is because I will be doing less appointments, which will not be back to back; to enable me to sanitise my equipment and also cover the cost of PPE. If you or any of your household display symptoms, or have been in close proximity to someone that has, could you please contact me to rearrange your appointment. When I enter your home for your appointment if you could have already moved any chairs / furniture etc so we have space to carry out your service. *(If weather allows your service can be undertaken outside if requested by you)

If practicable I will be asking clients to wear masks, I will have Disposable ones available for my clients. I too will be wearing my own mask throughout all treatments and will be changing these between clients and changing my uniform between clients too. Please don’t be offended when I refuse a drink/biscuit or any other goodies I am usually offered. ☹️ Enable me a space to wash my hands and you to wash yours at the beginning, during and end of a service. Between appointments I will be sanitising all my equipment and will be carrying Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% to clean any surfaces I have been using in your home.

My beauty couch will be covered during treatments and the covering changed between each client. Bank transfer or exact cash only please, prices will be arranged via message/phone call. *For clients requiring patch tests for lashes or tinting a consultation will need to be arranged prior to application.

I hope that these small changes to how we carry out treatments will help to put your mind at ease that you are in safe hands and ensure you that your safety is of paramount importance to me.

I look forward to welcoming you all back soon!
